    Eurodiaconia links diaconal actors to examine social needs, develop ideas and influence policies impacting Poverty and Social Exclusion, Social and Health Care Services and the Future of Social Europe.

    Eurodiaconia also provides a platform for transnational networking and best practice sharing.

    As the leading network for diaconal work in Europe, we look to develop dialogue and partnership between members and influence and engage with the wider society.  We do this to enable inclusion, care and empowerment of the most vulnerable and excluded and ensure dignity for all.

    Praxis, enabling membership engagement and partnerships

    Advocacy, creating a network of competence to impact policies at European and national level

    Identity and values, supporting the development of approaches and thinking on Diaconia in Europe today

Kommission unterstützt soziale Innovationen

Die Europäischen Kommission unterstützt die Netzwerke Social Innovation Exchange (SIX) und Euclid Network dabei, 10 umfangreiche und erfolgreiche Beispiele für sozial innovative Initiativen zu finden, um soziale Innovationen in ganz Europa bekannt zu machen und eine Wirkung zu erzielen, die über die etablierte Gemeinschaft, die sich mit sozialer Innovation beschäftigt, hinaus geht. Ziel des Projektes ist es, 10 sozial innovative Initiativen vorzustellen, welche den Menschen in Europa und darüber hinaus helfen können, soziale Innovationen zu verstehen und zu fördern.

Die 10 ausgewählten Projekte werden von der Europäischen Kommission in künftigen Mitteilungen zur sozialen Innovation in der EU als Fallstudien genutzt werden. Die Projekte werden auch in einer offiziellen Veröffentlichung der Europäischen Kommission zur sozialen Innovation erscheinen, die in ganz Europa Verbreitung finden wird.
