‘the Faces behind the cases’ Photography and Storytelling Exhibition

November 4 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us in the Chapel for Europe at 5:30pm on Tuesday, November 4th at the exhibition of our photography and story-telling campaign ‘the Faces behind the cases’

The campaign ‘the Faces behind the cases’ combines evocative photographic portraits of women who have found themselves on the move – taken by Yulia Dobrynina – with first-hand narratives from the women themselves. This is a member-led campaign sharing the stories of five women navigating a completely new social and labour reality, reflecting on their daily struggles to find their way.

The event aims to platform their voices, challenge stereotypes, highlight systemic barriers, and celebrate the resilience and contributions of women on the move in our societies. Along the way, we highlight Eurodiaconia members’ work in ensuring newcomers feel welcomed and included as soon as they arrive, not only to access services, but to find space to heal, connect, and build meaningful relationships within their new communities.
