At the end of May, the European Commission will publish this year’s country-specific recommendations, marking the last stage of the 2020 European Semester cycle. These recommendations provide policy guidance tailored to each EU country on how to boost jobs and growth while maintaining sound public finances. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is vital that these recommendations focus on spending and on social investments. Eurodiaconia will hold a webinar on 28th May at 11 am -12 pm outlining this year’s recommendations, explaining how members can engage in the process in Brussels and how to use their own country’s recommendations for their own advocacy at national level.
