Our member Armenia Round Table has launched “Let’s Overcome the Pandemic Together” – an initiative to donate free masks.
As part of it citizens are given multi-layered, reusable breathing masks in individual packaging in accordance with medical standards. As the number of COVID cases increases worldwide, people need more and more psychological support, but when your face is covered it is difficult to express any emotion, so the volunteers of the Armenian Apostolic Church began to paint the drawing of the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on the masks as a symbol of hope and optimism.
The project intends to give away a total of 3,000 masks and is co-financed by the Educational and Cultural Youth NGO “Pan-Armenian Youth Union” and the World Council of Churches Armenian Inter-Church Round Table Foundation.
