We have published the official network meeting report of our Urban Areas Network Meeting that took place in Oslo at the beginning of October. The report contains summaries of the presentations, participants’ inputs and gives readers an idea of our work with our membership.

Hosted by Oslo’s City Mission, the network meeting brought together 18 participants from five member organisations and other relevant actors in the region. The event had the participation of delegations from Spain, Finland, Sweden, Romania and Serbia. The two-day event focused on the challenges of social exclusion in urban areas of young people and the prevention of radicalisation leading to violence.

The two busy days gave participants the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about  the meeting’s topics through presentations, workshoips and study visit on the ground to meet Oslo’s City Mission’s staff and users on the ground. A very insightful experience which received positive feedback from the participating delegations.

We encourage you to read this report to know more about our work on policy and advocacy with members, and how our Network Meetings work in practice. With this year coming to an end, we are already organising and looking forward to our busy 2020 calendar – so keep an eye out!
