Every person should have access to quality, affordable, accessible social services such as childcare, long-term care, social assistance, social housing and employment support. Eurodiaconia members strive to provide quality services and Eurodiaconia has been actively engaged in the EU debate on the quality of social services since 2005. With the EU facing rising demand for social services, pressures on funding of social services and changing public expectations of services, Eurodiaconia will continue to work to encourage cooperation between our members, exchanging best practice and experience to improve the provision and delivery of social services across Europe.
If you wish to know more about Eurodiaconia’s work on quality social services, please contact our Policy Officer Laura Rayner at laura.rayner@eurodiaconia.org.
