The workshop will provide participants with basic knowledge about international project development and will explore the possibilities of transnational EU funding for diaconal organizations in Europe.
In two half days participants will learn how to approach an EU call for proposals, including how to acquire an overview of a grant application, how to read them efficiently, and what criteria you should consider before applying. We’ll discuss how to identify project partners in Europe and how to look for the right opportunities and present concrete examples of funding applications. Participants will also learn principles for outlining project ideas and building an international project. The training includes exercises showcasing different tools that can be used to develop a successful project.  The workshop also offers further insight into how Eurodiaconia works on international projects and how members can get involved and benefit from the network.

Some technical information: 
The workshop will be held in English. Eurodiaconia members from Central & Eastern Europe, and from minority churches are eligible to apply for financial support through the registration form.
Travel & accommodation have to be arranged by the participants (do not book flights/hotels before approval by Eurodiaconia).
