In light of the COVID-19 outbreak in Switzerland, our Swiss member Diakonie Schweiz supports a special website to help citizens self-organise and support each other.
The platform, called “Together Against Corona“, offers guidance on how to create and join different online groups through which to find practical and spiritual assistance. Specific descriptions and instructions are given for all major platforms such as Facebook, Whatsapp and Telegram.
Additionally, the website provides a list of already existing groups that can be joined to keep connected to the community in times of quarantine and self-isolation.
Last but not least, “Together Against Corona” also gives practical advice on how to manage online communities, to avoid online payment scams when shopping from home, how to do effective childcare under confinement, how to reach vulnerable groups, etc.
