Our Italian member Diaconia Valdese (Waldensian Diaconia) is running a youth exchange programme in Nicaragua within the Erasmus+, a project funded by the European Commission.
The project called “Change! ¡Cambia! – Volunteering: working, learning or training?”, aims to be a life changing experience for young people aged 18 to 24 years, as well as an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of volunteering. The exchange will take place next June in Nicaragua and will include practical work on the ground and study sessions aimed at reflecting on various aspects of volunteering. Participants will come from Italy, different regions in Nicaragua, Hungary and Uruguay.
The application form can be downloaded on Diaconia Valdese’s website and sent to giovaninmovimento@diaconiavaldese.org by the 12th of February 2017. Selected candidates are requested to pay a participation fee.
