Recently, our Spanish member Nueva Vida has opened a residential shelter for girls and teenage victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

The service, operational since the end of July, reinforces the already existing sheltering services operated by the Evangelical association and will be the first one of its kind in northern Spain. Staff members from Nueva Vida share the excitement and sense responsibility for providing victims with a better future and use their 20 years of experience working in the field to support the young girls.

With the opening of this new residential service, Nueva Vida positions itself as one of the leading Spanish institutions in aiding the struggle to end human trafficking with sexual exploitation purposes, and hopes it can keep making its contribution towards a society where women and girls do not have to suffer the consequences of this gender violence  never again.
