Eurodiaconia welcomes the Hungarian Gypsy Missions International (HGMI) as the 62nd member. HGMI is a registered non-profit organisation, established in 1996 and headquartered in Bekes, Hungary. HGMI is an independent branch of the Hungarian Pentecostal Church, with a focus on delivering social services and mission work among Roma communities in Hungary. HGMI’s social care initiatives currently directly reaches in excess of 10,000 Roma people.

HGMI is active in more than 320 localities. It has social services centres that deliver social primary care in 16 sites/nearly 200 settlements. HGMI’s education-training program operates in 5 educational institutions.  It operates a nationwide network, providing home assistance, food services, and charity services.
