JOINT EXTREME DESTITUTION & ROMA INCLUSION NETWORK MEETING 2025
We are pleased to invite you to the 2025 Joint Extreme Destitution & Roma Inclusion Network Meeting organised in cooperation with our member Diakonie ECCB on the 12th and 13th of June in Prague.
This year, the meeting will focus on The Rural-Urban Divide: Availability of Essential Services in Rural and Segregated Areas. Ensuring access to essential services is key to fostering social inclusion and a dignified life for all. Therefore, we will explore the accessibility and availability of essential services, particularly in rural and remote areas where adequate infrastructure like public transport, internet, and financial services is often lacking. The discussion will also address the impact of spatial segregation, highlighting the systemic barriers faced by Roma communities across Europe.
This year, we are joining efforts to address this issue across policy areas by bringing together two of our networks. As we are committed to fostering inclusive and respectful meetings, we highly recommend reading the Eurodiaconia Guidelines on Tackling Anti-Roma Racism before attending.
