The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has published a call for tenders on the topic of opportunities and challenges for the social economy and social enterprises. The goal of this call for tenders is to study, benchmark, diffuse initiatives or policies on the global, European/national level with a view to promoting successful approaches to social economy and social enterprises in order to:
- reinforce their e-skills and the uptake of new technologies in their entrepreneurial strategy
- discuss opportunities and challenges they face in that field
- diffuse best practices targeting both private and public stakeholder
The call for tenders is intended to bring about a better understanding of the way policies and initiatives supporting the digitalisation and the uptake of new technologies for social economy and social enterprises can be designed at EU and national levels. It also seeks to help the EU and member states design and implement these measures, and to encourage the exchange of ideas and the uptake of innovative technologies for the social economy and social enterprises.
To be considered for the call, tenderers must prove experience in the fields of digital social innovation or digital social entrepreneurship, as well as experience with online survey techniques, desk research, data collection and analysis. Tenderers must in addition prove their legal, regulatory, economic, financial, technical and professional capacity to carry out the work subject to this procurement procedure.
The deadline for the receipt of tenders is the 17th November 2017.
