Eurodiaconia and CCME have recently finalised a report assessing the National Roma Integration Strategies (NRIS) for 2014. The report provides an executive summary of some of the challenges and successes in implementing the NRIS as well as country specific reports according to our members who are active working with Roma communities. We would like to thank those members who contributed to the assessment.
The assessment will now be sent to the European Commission as well as the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) in particular and also distributed among EU level pro-Roma NGOs. Members are also encouraged to use the report and their national assessments from the report when advocating at national or local level for Roma rights.
If you were not able to contribute to the report this year, there will be another opportunity to do so in 2015.
