Early today, we released our latest Easy-To-Read report titled “Impact of coronavirus on our work.” This report was published by Eurodiaconia at the beginning of October 2020 and it is aimed at examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on diaconal organisations and giving members and stakeholders an insight into the impact it has had on the provision of social services.

As the EU moves towards recovery, the most vulnerable should be prioritised in funding programmes. The pandemic has created an environment where discussions must go beyond the usual political rhetoric and towards policy proposals that practically mirror the European social and economic realities.

Easy to read is a way to make information accessible so people with intellectual disabilities and all people can understand it. This new translation comes after the publication of the 2019 Eurodiaconia Annual Report and two policy papers in Easy-To-Read language, and it is part of our communications plan aimed at making our communications tools more perceivable, understandable, operable, and fully accessible within the next years.
