EEA and NORWAY GRANTS CALLS FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROJECTS ON DIFFERENT TOPICS
The EEA and Norway Grants are funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
The grants have two goals:
- to contribute to a more equal Europe, both socially and economically
- and to strengthen the relations between Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway, and the 15 beneficiary countries in Europe.
The European beneficiary countries are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia.
Below you can find a list of the available funds divided by country:
COUNTRY FOCUS: the Czech Republic with 9 ongoing calls for proposals. The first deadline is the 17th of March 2021.
Some relevant call for proposals are:
- Support of research, raising awareness and improving national implementation of human rights standards. The deadline for applications is the 29th of April 2021. Available budget: € 1,770,588
- Solving current needs, challenges, and events at the local level. The deadline for applications is the 29th of April 2021. Available budget: € 202,000.

COUNTRY FOCUS: Greece with 4 ongoing calls for proposals. The first deadline is the 26th of March 2021.
Some relevant call for proposals are:
- Gender Equality Promoted and Gender Based Violence Combatted. The deadline for applications is the 12th of April 2021. Available budget: € 1,005,400.
- Platforms and Networks among CSOs developed. The deadline for applications is the 12th of April 2021. Available budget: € 500,000.

COUNTRY FOCUS: Lithuania with 3 ongoing calls for proposals. The first deadline is the 20th of December 2022.
Some relevant call for proposals are:
- Civil society watchdog and advocacy role. The deadline for applications is the 1st of June 2023. Available budget: € 75,000.

COUNTRY FOCUS: Poland with 4 ongoing calls for proposals. The first deadline is the 31st of March 2021.

COUNTRY FOCUS: Romania with 15 ongoing calls for proposals. The first deadline is the 29th of March 2021.

- Development of adaptation and mitigation plans in municipalities (SGS-1). The deadline for applications is the 29th of March 2021. Available budget: € 1,000,000.
- Human Rights. The deadline for applications is the 9th of April 2021. Available budget: € 8,868,529.
- Enhancing Roma Inclusion and Empowerment – Round 2. The deadline for applications is the 15th of April 2021. Available budget: € 7,806,134.
- Active Citizens Fund Romania. The deadline for applications is the 2nd of September 2022. Available budget: € 75,000.

INTERREG EUROPE CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Interreg Europe helps regional and local governments across Europe to develop and deliver better policy. It aims at making sure that government investment, innovation and implementation efforts all lead to integrated and sustainable impact for people and place.
The Interreg Europe monitoring committee has decided to launch a call for additional activities in order to further help approved projects to deal with the crisis.
This exceptional measure offers the possibility for approved projects:
- to further exchange experiences on the way the crisis impacts the issue they address and on possible measures to face and recover from the crisis.
- to further improve their regional development policies to better face and recover from this unprecedented situation.
This call for proposal will open on the 1st of April 2021 and will close on the 2nd of July 2021 (14:00 CEST).
