The International Society for the Research and Study of Diaconia and Christian Social Practice (ReDi) is hosting its 8th bi-annual conference titled “Diaconia as a Game-Changer” at VID Specialised University in Oslo from 16-18 of September 2020.
The conference is themed “Diaconia as a Game-Changer? Leadership of Service in Times of Crisis, Complexity and Transformation” and aims to explore the ways in which churches and diaconal organisations can address present-day challenges such as marginalisation and radicalisation.
The programme for the event includes presentations by a number of high-level keynote speakers from Africa, Asia, and Europe, in addition to panel discussions, papers sessions, workshops, bible studies, poster sessions and cultural evenings in Oslo.
