On Tuesday 1st November, our Scottish member CrossReach had a special visit from Mr Mark McDonald – Scottish Minister for Childcare and Early Years to launch #30daysofplay along with Play Talk Read’s Benji the Bus! Families from Daisy Chain’s Young Parents Support Group had a great time on-board the bus, getting stuck into quality play time with their children. The Young Parent’s Support Group is an innovative approach looking at how to support young parents currently of school age continue to engage in their education, build confidence and understand more of what helps their children develop into happy healthy adults.
PlayTalkRead is calling for all parents and carers of pre-school children in Scotland to “play, share and win” throughout the month of November as part of its #30daysofplay campaign. Taking part is easy – simply taking a photo of parents and child doing one or more of the free, fun activities from PlayTalkRead’s #30daysofplay list. Sharing it on PlayTalkRead’s Facebook page or on Twitter using #30daysofplay and be in with a chance of winning a family photoshoot worth up to £1,000. asking parents and carers across Scotland to take part in our #30daysofplay campaign and share the simple things that they do together with their little one that helps bring them closer.
