The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the EU legislation regulating legal migration from third country nationals to the EU. The consultation aims at evaluating the relevance, coherence, effectiveness and efficiency of the EU legislation in this field and whether there are any gaps or inconsistencies that need to be remedied.
The consultation is targeting all different stakeholders and will be open until the 18 September 2017.
