The European Commission has launched a public consultation to gather views on actions that could be taken at EU level to promote the integration and social inclusion of migrants. The results of the consultation will feed into the development of the EU Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion.

The Commission also launched a call for applications to set up an expert group on the views of migrants which will participate in the development and implementation of migration, asylum and integration policies at the EU level. The call for applications to become a member of the Commission expert group on the views of migrants will be open until 21 September. The public consultation is available in all EU official languages and will be open until 21 October 2020.

Members who would like to contribute to Eurodiaconia’s response to the consultation are encouraged to contact Eurodiaconia’s policy officer Gabriela Agatiello at gabriela.agatiello@eurodiaconia.org.
