A new call for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 programme has been recently opened for applications. The call – titled “Digital Transformation in Health and Care” – aims at supporting the management of health and wellbeing while empowering the participation of citizens and facilitating the transformation of health and care services to more digitised, person-centred and community-based care models.
Among the call’s specific topics currently open for applications, the following ones might be the most interesting for diaconal organisations:
- Big data and Artificial Intelligence for monitoring health status and quality of life after the cancer treatment;
- Large scale implementation of digital innovation for health and care in an ageing society;
- Large Scale pilots of personalised & outcome based integrated care;
- Support for the large scale uptake of open service platforms in the Active and Healthy Ageing domain.
Social NGOs can be involved in the partners’ consortium with different roles and tasks according to each specific topic type of action (Research and Innovation action, Public Procurement of Innovative solutions, Innovation action, Coordination and support action).
The deadline for submitting applications to any of these topics is set for the 24th April 2019.
