Our member Fédération de l’Entraide Protestante (Protestant Federation of Mutual Aid – FEP) was received yesterday afternoon by the President of France, Mr François Hollande, at the Elysée Palace in Paris.
The three hundred people delegation included FEP Director and staff, local church communities, as well as different Protestant foundations and associations’ members.
The meeting gave the participants the chance to present the organisation and its commitment to solidarity and to the major social issues of our time. Mr Hollande and the delegation had also the opportunity to discuss the situation of migrants, disables and youth unemployment in the country, and the progress toward achieving these topics.
