Applications are now open for the eleventh Civil Society Prize awarded by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). This year’s topic is More women in Europe’s society and economy.

The prize, which has a total value of EUR 50,000 and can be shared among up to five winners, will reward innovative initiatives carried out by civil society organisations and/or individuals on the territory of the EU which aim to raise awareness of and fight for gender equality in the EU.

The deadline for entries is 6 September 2019. The awards ceremony will take place in Brussels during the EESC plenary session on 11-12 December 2019.

We encourage our members to apply for this important prize and get recognition for their hard work and dedication in promoting gender balance across society and the economy.
