We bring the exciting news that our Czech member Diaconia CCE (The Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren) have launched a new website, called Diaconal Academy.
The website, which was made available in January, is serving as a dedicated platform to explore and register for training and preparatory courses for people working in the social field. Diaconia CCE are offering over 50 accredited courses, and have targeted training programmes for social workers, executives and care workers.
Their training platform showcases multiple courses varying in length, price and covering topics from effective team communication to caring for people with dementia. With training facilities in Prague, Czech Republic, The Diaconal Academy also offers facilities and classroom space for rent. So far over 2400 people from 358 organisations have been trained as part of the initiative. The aim of the Academy is to provides the opportunity not only of a bespoke learning experience, but also as a way to tackle tough issues and questions by bringing social and health care workers together.
Diakonie CCE, one of the Czech Republic’s largest organisations providing social services, are committed to providing support for living a dignified life regardless of age, illness, disability or challenging social situations. This latest development of their new training website showcases their continued dedication to offering quality social and educational care.
In celebration of their successes, the Academy is offering discounted rates for courses until the end of February.
