Early this month Diakonia Poland launched its 2016 Easter Piggy bank. Skarbonka Diakonijna project has now been running for more than 20 years across the country, and aims to collect funds over the Passion time for people in need.
Since 1995 Skarbonka Diakonijna has become an inter–Ecumenical project in cooperation with Caritas and ELEOS Orthodox Charity Centre.
This year’s collecting slogan is “piggy bank full of mercy” and the proceeds will be donated to support treatment and rehabilitation of elderly people.
