Europe wants to become climate neutral and has set itself this ambitious goal for 2050. What’s the Commission’s strategy for achieving this? The European Green Deal! However, what attention has also been given to the social and economic challenges of our ecological transformation?
This year, Diakonie Deutschland’s European Conference will make this its main focus.
The workshops will focus specifically on the ways of implementing climate protection in a way that is affordable and fair for everyone. As the issue of ecological sustainability is a cross-sectional task and the European Green Deal plays a role in many EU and federal programs, different funding programs and projects for the implementation of the Green Deal will also be discussed in the workshops.
Participants will also hear about Diakonie Deutschland’s new network of EU policy and funding, which has set the Green Deal as a key topic for the exchange of EU policies and funding opportunities.
