On the 27th of February, the European Commission published the Winter Package. This is the second stage of the European Semester and includes a country report on each EU member state. These reports outline the situation in each EU country, exploring the economic situation, competitiveness, investment reforms, the labour market and education and social policies. This information can be extremely useful for your own advocacy at national level and also provides Eurodiaconia with a tool to push for social change at EU level.

Therefore, on Tuesday 10th March from 11 am – 12 pm, Eurodiaconia will hold a webinar for members to explain more about the recommendations and how they fit into the Semester cycle. It will give participants tips on how to approach their Country Reports, information on new features of this year’s reports and advice on how to engage in advocacy on the report through Eurodiaconia. Moreover, questions related to the package, specific country reports, or the European Semester process, in general, can be discussed.

Please register online for this webinar by the 9th of March at the latest.

If you have any questions about the webinar, please do not hesitate to contact our Policy Officer Laura at laura.rayner@eurodiaconia.org.
