Eurodiaconia is pleased to invite you to the 2015 Training on the European Semester and the Europe 2020 Strategy which will take place from 9.15 am on 3 December until 1pm on 4 December 2015. It will be hosted by the Salvation Army in Czech Republic, the Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of the Czech Brethren (DECCB) and Slezska Diakonie and will be held at the Diaconal Academy of the DECCB, Belgická 22, 12000, Prague.
The meeting will be conducted in Czech and focus on the Czech context. The purpose of this two-day training is to provide a platform for exchange and support on the involvement of churches and diaconal organisations in the European Semester process. This meeting takes place in the context of the Europe 2020 strategy review as well as of persistent historically high levels of poverty and unemployment.
