Essere Mamma (Being mother) is a social meeting point addressed to mothers of children from zero to ten months. It is a point to share concerns, emotions, fears, discuss personal experiences and share information with other women experiencing maternity. The project will include also the possibility to consult an expert on the theme of being parents today in the city.
The first cycle of meetings starts the 14th of March and it will take place every Monday morning from 10am to 12am at “Il Passo Social Point”. That is a social center recently open in Turin in one of the old Waldensian churches in town.
“Il Passo” hosts already other projects of Diaconia Valdese, especially targeting asylum seekers and refugees, as well as the project “Extra Titoli in Barriera” which aims to help migrants in the recognition process of the diplomas of their previous studies.
