On the 7th of December, our partner Social Platform will host in Brussels an event titled: ‘’Investing in services for people’s well-being: From good practices to better policies’’. EU decision-makers, Member States’ representatives and stakeholders working in the social sector will gather together for an exchange of good practices and a discussion on policy proposals.
The meeting will look at how:
• services can be more innovative and effective through the empowerment of users and partnerships with different actors
• people in vulnerable situations can be successfully included in the labour market through the social economy and social enterprises
• communities can benefit from migrants’ and refugees’ contribution
• the financial sustainability of services can be ensured, including through a better use of the European Structural and Investment Funds and the European Fund for Strategic Investments.
