On the 25th of May, our Serbian member Ekumenska Humanitarna Organizacija-EHO (Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation), hosted a debate in Novi Sad on policies and practices for refugees in the area.
The meeting was aimed at analysing the existing framework and mechanisms concerning the Readmission Agreements, as well as identifying the main obstacles returnees have to face in their process of integration. The event is the fifth of a series of debates titled “Perspective of equal opportunity for returnees based on readmission agreements“, and gathered representatives of the Municipal Center for Social Work, the local Red Cross, social assistants, healthcare mediators, and representatives from the civil sector.
The project is supported by the European Union within the program “Support to Civil Society 2013.”
