On the 23rd of February, the TV reportage about the rehabilitation of flood affected houses project was presented in the small City Hall of Valjevo, Serbia.
The project, jointly implemented by two partner organizations – our member Ecumenical Humanitarian Organisation (EHO) and the Humanitarian Service of the Protestant Churches in Switzerland (HEKS-EPER) – was launched to restore normal living conditions in local communities and ensure that the aid reaches the most vulnerable groups in the aftermath of floods in May 2014. The project was run from August to December 2015 in Valjevo, Sabac, Lazarevac and Obrenovac, for a total of CHF 1.6 mill financed by HEKS / EPER, Swiss Solidarity, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
The TV documentary was shot by the independent team CPZV in cooperation with Playgroung Production in NoviSad, and shows the aims and objectives of the project, as well as the project progresses on the ground.
