Asociación Evangélica Nueva Vida (New Life Evangelical Association) part of our Spanish member Diaconía España participates in the Becas de Comedor aid programme.
The programme was launched by Educo.org, and operates in 20 different countries. It is aimed at ensuring adequate nutrition for children in need in Cantabria, which is one of the most affected areas by the current economic crises.
Thanks to Nueva Vida, in partnership with the chain Lupa supermarket and a local restaurant, more than 45 children facing economic hardships will receive a complete meal per day in the capital Santander.
Educo.org is a global development NGO that acts in favour of children and in defence of their rights, especially the right to a quality education. It works with children and their communities to promote fearer societies which guarantee children’s rights and wellbeing.
