Recently, our Swedish member Sveriges Stadsmissioner has been involved in a funding project launched by the Swedish Real Estate Agency to help homeless people and people in need with a donation for every estate sold.

The new charity project started on the 1st of January this year, and for every new estate sold, 100 Swedish Kronor (9.73 euros) will be donated to a Swedish NGO chosen by the buyers between Sveriges Stadsmissioner, SOS Children’s Villages and BRIS Sweden. Both sellers and buyers are also given the opportunity to give a contribution themselves. The Real Estate Agency also encourages the staff of its local offices to activate in different ways to raise additional funds.

Real Estate Agency’s contribution is allocated directly to the City Missions’ activities for homeless all over Sweden. In particular, the donations will help to fund new meeting places for homeless people, where they can be helped in basic needs and guided out of vulnerable situations by trained staff.

Real Estate Agency is the largest brokerage company in Sweden with approximately 45,000 houses annually distributed.
