Our Scottish member the Church of Scotland has organised a number of initiatives for churches and individuals between the 10th and the 16th of May to celebrate the annual Christian Aid Week.

During the week-long event interested parties can sign-up for events run by Christian Aid, which include a daily quiz and live streaming worship events. The organisers will also be offering an ‘e-envelope’, an online messaging campaign aimed at helping people share the Christian Aid Week story with family and friends, and asking for a donation.

Separately from that, donations platforms and virtual fundraisers have been set up to help gather funds for the most vulnerable in our societies. This year’s fundraising event has been adapted for the current health crisis and includes inspiration and ideas for connecting with your community safely. You can also find out how to organise a virtual quiz evening or hold an online church service using Christian Aid’s specially prepared worship resources.
