Representatives and ministers from the Presbyterian Church of Ireland and our member the Reformed Church in Hungary joined together in Budapest early this week to strengthen ties and share good knowledge.
The conference mainly focused on topics such as the relevance and challenges of ministry in a post-Christendom culture, pastoral care and ministry to ethnic minorities and asylum seekers.
Running themes throughout the conference included topics such as being active as churches in the peace process and towards the most vulnerable.
The dialogue was the occasion to share good knowledge and ideas and gave the participants from both countries the chance to rethink their definition of ministry.
