Diaconia Madrid, who forms part of our member in Spain, Diaconia Espana (Diaconia Spain) is offering a different type of annual meeting this year, combining their yearly conference with seminars and workshops on social action. The aim of the annual meeting is to meet and welcome new entities that are joining the Diaconia Espana network and platform, and in addition to participate in practical workshops and strengthen networking.
The annual conference will take place on 7th October in Madrid, and will feature a varied programme in which organizations or individuals involved in social action in Spain come together to meet and share experiences. The programme for the day will allow participants to take part in workshops relating to volunteering, working with for non-violence among young people, how to better manage food banks, and which activities to develop working with refugees. From 16:30, the ordinary annual meeting will begin, in which Diaconia Espana will enable participants to learn about the organisation, the network and its activities and projects.
A donation of € 5 is requested to attend the conference day, in order to cover costs of materials. You can find more information on the event website.
