Introducing and implementing initiatives to prevent and combat violence against women and children should be one of the EU and national policy makers’ priority.
This call for proposals for action grants is based on the 2015 annual work programme1 of the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme. It aims to co-fund national or transnational projects that encourage multi-agency and multi-disciplinary cooperation to respond to violence against women and/or children, and on tackling underreporting.
Organisations interested in submitting applications should first read the detailed terms and conditions set out in the call for proposals, and the Guide for Action Grants, published together with the call and constituting an integral part of the conditions of the call. The Guide is divided in different sections and aims to provide all information relevant to the application and selection process, as well as to the entire life-cycle of co-financed projects.
Applications can be submitted until the 1st of June 2016 using PRIAMOS, the online application tool of Directorate-General Justice and Consumers.
The call for proposals is opened to all organisations legally established in one of the EU member state or in Iceland and Liechtenstein.
