The Call for proposals on capacity-building in the area of rights of the child is aimed at financing proposals focusing on increasing general awareness and knowledge, including among children, of children rights including the right to be heard and express their voices on issues that matter to them; designing and testing mechanisms of child participation at local level; assessing national legislative and policy frameworks for child participation.
The Call for proposals on improving the awareness on EU citizenship rights and inclusion of mobile EU citizens and to support coordination among national authorities competent in electoral matters is aimed at financing promote awareness, gather data and build knowledge concerning EU citizenship rights and associated European common values and common democratic standards.
The Call for proposals on preventing and combating all forms of violence against children, young people and women is open to projects tackling gender-based violence, online violence against women, protecting and supporting victims and witnesses and preventing peer violence among children. Expected outcomes include but are not limited to education and awareness raising, training and practical activities to tackle prejudices and gender stereotypes, development of tools for reporting, flagging and/or removal of harmful online violent content among others.
The Call for proposals on promotion of the effective implementation of the principle of non-discrimination looks to finance projects tackling discrimination based on racial or ethnic origin, anti-gypsyism, and to promote diversity management. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, access to education, employment, health and housing, and raising the general public’s awareness about Roma history.
The Call for proposals on prevention of racism will consider projects for combating racism, homophobia and other forms of intolerance and to monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online. The Call looks to support initiatives for empowering, supporting and protecting groups, communities and individuals encountering intolerance and measures fostering improved dialogue.
The Call for proposals on closing gender gaps over the life-course is intended to give support to projects combatting harmful negative gender stereotypes and discriminatory practices in education and early childhood care, and tackling gender stereotypes in educational and career choices in a digitalised world.
